Nickel Chromium Alloys are corrosion resistant at normal and extremely high temperatures. The chemical element Iron is added to form highly electrical resistant alloys. Some versions are also available where they provide superior strength, creep resistance in age-harden able conditions.
Some of these high temperature alloys resist oxidation, carburisation and are sometimes even classified as stainless steels when there is high amount of iron content in their composition. Along with iron, Molybdenum and Copper are added to form alloys that are excellent in high sulphuric, phosphoric and other acidic environments.
Nickel Chromium Alloys include Nickel Alloy 600/ Nickel Alloy 601/ Nickel Alloy 718/ Nickel Alloy X-750/ Nickel Alloy 800HT/ Nickel Alloy 825 Nickel Alloy 925/ Nickel Alloy C276.
